Ciao! I'm Cindi,  the Treatment Coordinator/Patient Advocate. I've been a member of the Berkinshaw Orthodontic Team since January 2002, and I think I have the best job here! My job is to smooth the way as you enter the world of Orthodontics by answering your questions, working out the financial arrangements, coordinating your first appointments and communicating with your dentist as you begin your journey to a beautiful smile! I was born in Tokyo, Japan but have lived in the Annapolis area since 1985. I share my life with my husband Rick, our adult daughter Alex and our adorable Wheaten Terriers, Willie, Jelly and Finnegan.  I love to cook, garden, work out and travel. 

Hello!  My name is Joyce.  I have spent many years in the orthodontic field as everything from an assistant to front desk and then billing and insurance.  After a hiatus of four years, I'm back in the capacity of Treatment Coordinator.  I really enjoy my new responsibilities because I get the chance to work one on one with our patients, guiding them through the often confusing world of orthodontics.  I enjoy the challenge of helping them navigate their way to the smile of their dreams!  I grew up in Baltimore but have been an Annapolitan for sixteen years.  I love golfing, boating and skiing with my husband Tommy, Pilates and playing with my children Esther, a black lab and Bernie, a St. Bernard who act as my alarm clock everyday, even weekends. 

Hi! My name is Sandy. I joined Berkinshaw Orthodontics in April 2007 as a member of the front office team. I love the people I work with and our wonderful patients too. Since I recently got my braces off, I'm the "Go To" person if you have any questions about your orthodontic treatment.  So if you have any questions, feel free to ask! When I'm not at work, I love to hang out with my family and do karaoke. I also love shopping and no matter what store I go to, I always buy something flip flop related because I love flip flops! 

Hello! My name is Maureen. I joined the Berkinshaw Orthodontics Team in 1995 as a Bookkeeper. Currently I am working part time in financial support. My husband, Don & I live in Davidsonville. We have two daughters, Michelle and Stephanie. When I'm not at the office I stay busy with our six beautiful grandchildren, Maria, Alex, Andrea, Maddie, Liam and Quinn and our dog, Bailey. I also love to spend time at our beach house with my family and friends.

Hi! I'm Teri, the Lab Technician. I've been working for Dr. B. since 1985. I make all those cool custom retainers you get when you finish wearing braces. I also do what we call "Records". If you are considering braces, I'm the one who takes the x-rays, photos and impressions of your teeth that we use to make the diagnostic models Dr. B. uses to plan what kind of orthodontic treatment you may need. I enjoy what I do at Berkinshaw Orthodontics and coming to work is always fun, but when I'm not working I love to spend time at the beach. I live in Annapolis with my two cats Issy and Fidgit. Family is a big part of my life. Mom and Dad live close by. I have two fun sisters, who also come with two great brothers-in-law. I also have one nephew, three nieces and I'm even a great-aunt. Well, that about sums it up... but remember... as Snoopy says, "You're only young once, and if you do it right, once is enough!"

Hi! My name is Jan. I began my career as an Orthodontic Assistant with Dr. Berkinshaw's former partner, Dr. Toomey over 25 years ago. I spend most of my time in the office working with patients, which is great since I love meeting new people. I live in Wye Mills, home of the famous Wye Oak Tree, which unfortunately was struck by lightening a few years ago. My husband Jamie and I have two lovely daughters Jocelyn and Randal. We also have a beagle named Brandi and eight other rabbit dogs. Jamie and I enjoy spending time together on weekends traveling to dog trials with our champion Beagles. My favorite things are: horses, dogs, red sports cars and vacationing in the mountains.

Hi! My name is Diane. I have been an Orthodontic Assistant in this office for over 30 years. In fact, this is the only job I have ever had! So I guess you can see that I really like what I do. My favorite part of the job is the people, both the other members of the team and the patients. I live in Glen Burnie and have one son, Bruce. When I'm not working, my idea of the perfect day is a sunny afternoon at the beach with a good book. 

Well hello there! I'm Kathy and I am an Orthodontic Assistant. I've enjoyed being a part of Dr. Berkinshaw's Team since 1985. I love working with people and sharing their day to day lives and adventures. My husband, Mike and I have made our home in the Annapolis area since 1994 where we were blessed with the birth of our wonderful son Michael. When I'm not at the office having fun with our great patients I like skiing, boating, tropical island vacations, Jimmy Buffett and spending time with my family.
